Along the same lines as his sermon series, Pastor Jon highy recommends a book titled God is the Issue by Brad Bright. Available online to download free at www.discovergod.com. There are also five copies printed out for you to pick up in the Narthex if you don't have internet access.

Second annual family retreat at the Nazarene camp near Ruidoso, NM is set for October 8, 9, and 10. Cost is $50 per person and scholarships are available. Fun activities include indoor swimming pool, a zipline, and campfire amphitheater.

You can participate in Operation Worship Bible by going to Lifeway Christian bookstore and purchasing a Bible for only $4.99. There is a Bible for each branch of the service. Write a message to your active-duty service man or woman or a member of their family. Leave it at the store and the store will pay shipping costs to get the Bible to the individual. What a deal!

on Beth Moore's book,
Esther.
The morning circle gathers
at 9:30 each Monday for coffee and visiting followed by bible study and prayer
at 10:00. The course involves personal study in preparation for weekly video presentations and small group discussions.
