The Rev. Jonathan Sharpe was led to the Lord via the U.S. Navy. He was led to Levelland via the Lord. Sharpe preached his first sermon August 3, 2003 as pastor at FPC.

Pastor Jon spent two decades as a U.S. Naval officer. He earned a bachelor of science degree in general engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1980. During his post-graduate work, he met and married fellow student Tracy Kugler. They have three children: Paul Benjamin, Surafel, Karin.
