Adult Education at First Presbyterian

NEWELL WRIGHT Sunday School CLASS

The Newell Wright Class welcomes people of all ages who are interested in Bible study using the lecture format with discussion following. Prayer requests are shared weekly.
 
TRUTHSEEKERS Sunday School CLASS

Couples and singles of all ages are invited to join the Truthseekers Class as they study various scripturally-based texts chosen by the class. Fellowship activities range from breakfast to dinners in the member's homes and other outings and retreats.
 
Biblical Studies Sunday School Class

Teacher: Jon Sharpe
This class is dedicated to knowing the Bible as our only basis for knowledge
and truth through a rigorous and passionate study of the Scriptures seeking to
be fed the most exquisite food by God's Word. There is more in Scripture than is even
dreamed of in our philosophies. All who seek truth with all that is in them are welcome.

Fellowship and Bible study particularly for women
Every woman at First Presbyterian Church is a member of the Presbyterian Women (PW) and is invited to participate in activities, services, studies, and ministries provided especially for women. PW offers opportunities for women to use their gifts to serve, support, and care for the body of Christ.

Dorothy Douglas and Joy Pearce are active in sewing pillowcase dresses for "Little Dresses in Africa." After seeing on Nancy's Notions, a project for making simple dresses from pillowcases for African girls, women at First Presbyterian, EPC, decided to provide dresses for next summer's Midland mission trip. Donations of new or gently-used pillowcases and/or bias tape are welcome.
