Children at First Presbyterian

Our Mission: To foster discipleship
in our children and youth

Sunday School classes at 9:30 a.m. are provided for pre-K through 5th grade students based on the Faith Weaver Bible curriculum. Each lesson stresses one important point from the Bible. Children will be challenged to apply that principle, weaving their faith into their lives.

Groups are divded between Pre-K-2nd grade and 3rd-5th graders.

Vacation Bible School occurs in June for children age four through fifth grade. This event features study of Scripture, music, puppet shows, crafts, and directed play. Children are encouraged to bring a Bible and a friend.

The Nursery is a vital part of our church family.  We are most interested in the church being a safe and happy experience for parents and their children.  Skilled workers watch over the children during all Sunday services, midweek services and for most group meetings held throughout each week.
