Presbyterian Church, EPC is more than a place of refuge from the burdens

the Gospel of Christ to a hungry and hurting world.
Every minute of every day, we’re reaching out to someone somewhere
in the world who needs a helping hand. Through a variety of local and
global mission efforts, FPC is seeking to make a difference in the world
in the name of Jesus Christ.
Consider the ways God is calling you to show others his love through
service opportunities at First Presbyterian Church, EPC.
From now until March 1, 2010, we will take special offerings that will be used by our church family to purchase items needed in the Children's Hope kitchen.
Children Hope Residential Services, Inc. is a non-profit corporation dedicated to providing a home and care for abused and neglected children of Texas. Founded in 2002, Children's Hope has served over 250 abused children and is the only non-profit children's home serving intense level children in the 44 counties of west Texas.
Currently there are a far greater number of children needing homes than Children's Hope has been able to supply. To meet this need, West Elementary has been acquired by Children's Hope to convert it into a residential treatment center that will include 50 residential beds. The target date for opening the new center is April, 2010. THIS IS A VERY COSTLY ENDEAVOR and our church wants to help.
